my newest favorite book is vampirates- the demons of the oceans and there's also a book, written by an icelander author, her name is yrsa sigurdardottir. the book's title, as translated by me, is the last ritual. it's a bit (more) sadistic and sometimes even masochist but the plot is interesting. it has some passages which talk about the inquisition period of the middle ages eve though the action is taking place in the modern days, actually the 2000s.
